The Progress Report Feature!
The Progress Report shows how students are improving their typing skills over time by tracking the metrics of typing speed (words per minute) and accuracy as they complete the lessons and activities.
How Improvement is Calculated
The improvement percentage shows how much better (or worse) a student performed compared to their previous attempt. The system creates a “typing score” that considers both speed and accuracy.
- Higher accuracy is weighted more heavily (because accurate typing is more important than just fast typing).
- Formula in simple terms: Speed × Accuracy Quality = Overall Typing Score
